Help Stop Bullying!

Kaleidoscope Theatre will be collaborating with P.A.V.E., Youth Pride, and the Silver Lake Community Center to help raise anti-bullying awareness in local high schools. This collaboration was awarded the Hope 2 Grant, which will help bring Kaleidoscope Theatre's brand-new B.U.L.L.Y. - The High School Musical to ten local high schools in the 2009-2010 touring season.

The Hope 2 Grant is aimed at supporting victims of hate crimes based sexual orientation or the perception of sexual orientation. The grant was meant to develop mentoring programs; awareness through and development of a public service announcement; and, finally the performances of B.U.L.L.Y. at the following schools:

LaSalle Academy
Veterans High School
Pilgrim High School
Tollgate High School
Tolman High School
East Providence High School
