Kaleidoscope will continue it's 2007 Summer Series with Alice in Wonderland at Rhode Island College this Tuesday, July 17th! Showtime is 11:00am and admission is $8.00 in advance, $10.00 at the door. This original musical adaptation of the famous Lewis Carroll story is by David G. Payton (Kaleidoscope's Executive Director) and is filled with all the wonderful characters you have come to know and love in the book. When Alice leaves behind Dinah, her kitten, and follows that strange White Rabbit, she gets more adventure than she could ever have dreamed! There's the Duchess and her Pepper Soup, a baby that turns into a pig, the Queen of Hearts (who's rather cross!) and a Cheshire Cat who keeps leaving his smile behind! Kaleidoscope Theatre's musical adaptation of this Lewis Carroll classic is a great favorite with something for everyone! Join Alice in the wild and wacky world of Wonderland - you'll find a smile that will follow you home! For further information, please contact the RIC Box Office at (401) 456-8144.
Alice will also be appearing with her friend the Mad Hatter on this coming Saturday, July 14th from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. Stop by and get the characters' autographs, pose for photos, and explore the wonderful grounds at Homestead Gardens (200 Industrial Dr., North Smithfield). The Garden is also home to a nifty gift boutique and a snack/ice cream shop. For more information about Homestead Gardens, please call Angela at (401) 309-1882.
